The employment of the legend has not given up by literature and the legend still lives through these decades due to the literature usage of it, for the relation which ties the literature with the legend is a debatable one, where literature embraced by the legend and not only was the writers and poets' inspiration tool; yet it became one of the literary modernity most important symbols.

But, literature diving in its legendary side logged it into the ambiguity and obscurity worlds to reach its corrupting meaning.

In reality the relationship that links literature with legend, was tainted with anxiety and perturbation, either it may be the literature raw material or may also excellently be a literary text; therefore the criticism remains searching into this debatable and perturbed relation.
