Abstract EN

The current study aims to shed light a new type of education that includes both face-to-face learning and online or distance learning, the so-called pedagogy of hybrid education as an educational alternative adopted by the ministry of higher education and scientific research in Algeria from the 2020 / 2021 university season.

the nature of the current study required the use of the descriptive analytical approach, the study concluded several results, most notably the weakness of the technological infrastructure, the inadequate qualification and training of teaching staff, and the poor awareness among students of their roles and responsibilities towards hybrid education.

based on these findings, the study presented a proposed vision for the application of this type of university education at the university of Algeria that corresponds to the conditions of epidemics, natural disasters and beyond, as well as suggestions for university institutions on how to deal with the challenges associated with hybrid learning.
