This study aims to examine a very important topic by standing on the university and its role in consolidating moderate thought, in order to contribute at enriching propositions about the impact that moderate thought has on the wealth of nations, which show the treasures of Arab and Muslim societies in terms of intellectual heritage and spiritual wealth, in addition to the explanations it provides in order to reformulate and construct some of the necessary perceptions and concepts, intended to enable a new renaissance based on developing the foundations of the civilized belonging of the Arab Islamic self.

accordingly, our topic included the most important basic trends in dealing with the concept of moderation and the crisis of state institutions between imported solutions and the potential of local thought and the philosophy of university education between authenticity and contemporary and the problem of the university's role in consolidating moderate thinking between the existing and the desired.
