Abstract EN

The current study aimed to build a scale of professional competencies for school and vocational guidance counselors in Algeria, following the annual program of their activities proposed by the ministry of national education.

it has been applied on a sample of (70) counselors from Touggourt district, who were chosen in a simple random way.

the descriptive approach has been applied to achieve the objectives of the study, and employing the following statistical methods: (Pearson correlation coefficient, Guttman coefficient, Cronbach's alpha coefficient) finally, the results have showed that the professional competency scale had acceptable levels of validity and reliability commensurate with the characteristics of a good scale after applying it to this sample.
