This papier aims to study the status of religious and mythological thought, in the era of scientific modernity, according to the structural questioning of Edgar Morin, where he revealed the invasion of myths and religion in the perception of modern man at the time when the latter announced the end of religion and all myths, claiming that he had been able to possess the lights however, Moran sees in it, new myths, which have been played in different forms, it changes its features and works to camouflage its functions, and with Moran's critical structure and his founding activity, we discover how the greatest claims of modernity (science, progress, happiness), and the myths of the kingdom of promising ideologies (Marxism, democracy, the nation-state), were established, further from him, that mythology was revived in artistic production (theater, cinema, novel), in addition, (brotherhood, humanity, love) can be considered as a religion of humanity.
