قطاع المحروقات هو الركيزة الأساسية التي يعتمد عليها الاقتصاد الجزائري في شتى المجالات المتعلقة بالصادرات والإيرادات الجبائية، وهذا القطاع يعتمد بدوره وبشكل كبير جدا على الغاز الطبيعي بصورة مباشرة من خلال حجم وقيمة مخرجاته، وبصورة غير مباشرة من خلال مساهمته في إنتاج النفط الخام، والإيرادات التصديرية والجبائية، ودوره في رفع معدلات النمو الاقتصادي، والتوسع في حجم الناتج الداخلي الخام.
Abstract EN
The hydrocarbon sector is the main pillar on which the Algerian economy depends in various areas related to exports and tax revenues, and this sector, in turn, depends very heavily on natural gas directly through the volume and value of its productions, and indirectly through its contribution to crude oil production and export and tax revenues, as well as its role in increasing economic growth rates and expanding the volume of gross domestic product.

Le secteur des hydrocarbures est le principal pilier dont dépend l'économie algérienne dans divers domaines liés aux exportations et aux recettes fiscales, et ce secteur, à son tour, dépend très fortement du gaz naturel directement à travers le volume et la valeur de ses productions, et indirectement à travers ses contribution à la production de pétrole brut et aux recettes d'exportation et fiscales, ainsi que son rôle dans l'augmentation des taux de croissance économique et l'expansion du volume du produit intérieur brut.
