Abstract EN

This study aims to explore the impact of a proposed training program on the development of bio-ethical concepts and information literacy specific to the corona pandemic among science teachers in Saudi Arabia.

The researcher used the quasi experimental approach in accordance with the pre-post-test design through designing and then implementing a training program on 126 science teachers.

The sample was chosen and trained online based on the availability principle.

To achieve the study goal, two dimensions were used: the examination of bio ethical concepts specific to the corona pandemic and the measurement of information literacy.

Findings showed that there are statistically significant differences P < 0.05 between the science teachers’ mean scores in the pre and post stage implementation of bio-ethical concepts exam specific to corona pandemic.

Also, there are no statistically significant differences among the study sample mean score measuring information literacy that may be attributed to the variables: qualification, school district, and experience years.
