Abstract EN

The current study aims at using augmented reality technique in teaching scientific concepts to secondary school students and developing their attitude towards it.

A training program based on augmented reality was designed for the seventh chapter of biology course.

It was applied to an experimental group of 40 secondary school students.

An achievement test of scientific concepts and a scale for measuring students’ attitudes towards augmented reality technique were utilized.

Results revealed the program effectiveness in teaching scientific concepts to secondary school students and developing their attitude towards augmented reality technique.

There are statistically significant differences among student mean scores in the pre-and post-application; favoring post-application.

The study indicates the significant role played by augmented reality technique in improving the levels of understanding, realization, and knowledge.
