Algerian voluntary activities have spread for a considerable period on the Internet, especially through Facebook, by the creation of voluntary groups via cyberspace to achieve a specific voluntary goal so that the electronic initiatives turn into a voluntary activity on the ground and become official later, which means that Social networking sites have become a starting point for voluntary activity and pave the way for its formation and maturity.

The characteristics of these new media play a distinctive role in attracting volunteers for their ease of use, low cost and other advantages that we will try to highlight in this article through our discussion of three Algerian volunteer initiatives via Facebook of various interests, with the aim of knowing The role of Facebook in voluntary activity as an alternative and effective space in this field.
