Abstract EN

This study aimed to analyze and evaluate the reality of E-government in the Arab world (21 Arab countries), relying in the analysis on two indicators: (EGDI) & (EPI) which issued by the United nations.

The study found that there is a discrepancy in performance between the Arab countries, with the exception of countries from GCC (UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman) who are classified within the category of a very high index, the performance of the rest was average & below the satisfactory level due to the weakness of their communications infrastructure as well as the lack of availability of Online Services.
