Abstract EN

The current research aimed to determine the relationship between sensory integration and expressive and receptive language skills among children with autism disorder, and to detect differences in sensory integration, expressive and receptive language skills between males and females of children with autism disorder, and the descriptive correlative approach was used, and the research sample consisted of (30) a boy and a girl with autism disorder, with (17) boys and (13) girls, and their ages ranged between (4-6) years, with an average age of (5.1) years and a standard deviation of (0.92).

the study measures included : children's sensory integration scale prepared by : Abdel Aziz Alshakh et al.

(2017), and the Arabized language scale prepared by Ahmed Abu Hassiba (2013).

the results showed that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between the degrees of sensory integration and expressive and receptive language skills among children with autism.

the results also showed there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and females of autistic children on the scale of sensory integration in favor of females, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and females of children with autism on the language-expressed scale for the benefit of h female.
