The phenomenon of counterfeiting appellation of origin compared with goods has spread; this role shall activate of customs in combating of counterfeiting appellation of origin during the cross-border movement of goods.

This study aims to highlighting the role that customs play in combating use as a model of the appellation of origin through with state of customs intervention mechanisms to protect the appellation of origin, and the grounds on which such intervention is based.
