Abstract EN

The research aims to improve the Arabic reading skill of non-Arabic speaking Iranian children and youth by using children's social stories as an appropriate educational content for them.

Due to the nature of the research, the researchers have mixed the descriptive and field approaches؛ The research needs to review previous studies and literature that are related to the field of employing children’s stories in teaching reading.

The research also needs the field approach to reach the extent of the impact of using children's social stories in promoting reading.

The answer to the research question needs to specify the specifications of the selected and appropriate texts for the first secondary school students in Iran first, the design of the educational content second, the teaching and testing third, and the analysis of the obtained data fourthly.

Statistical analysis through the Spss program shows that there is a significance between the average of the two groups (control and experimental) for all variables in the extent of the effect of using children's social story on improving reading skill, and as expected, the hypothesis was proven through statistical significance and according to the statistical measurement of the story that the effect of using the story is that It is positive and has the same meaning.
