Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the effect of using Marzano’s model in developing mathematical concepts for students with learning difficulties in mathematics in hail.

the quasi-experimental approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (28) students who were chosen randomly, and they were divided into (14) students as an experimental group, and (14) students as a control group.

in the year 2021, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a study unit (addition and subtraction) was developed.

this unit includes a guide for the teacher, model lessons, and a guide for the student according to the Marzano model in developing mathematical concepts for students with learning difficulties, and the validity was verified for it, and the preparation of the mathematical concepts test its validity and reliability were verified, and the results revealed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the test of mathematical concepts in favor of the experimental group.

it also showed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control group in the skill of remembering, understanding, and application, in favor of the experimental group.
