Wadih Saadeh (1948 AD), the Lebanese poet, and Hafez Mousavi (1954 A.D.), the Iranian poet, are among the poets who were able to open their poetic text to the narrative, after the distances between literary genres shifted.

the two poets used narration and its techniques in their poems as a tool of human expression to facilitate the effortless understanding of the meanings of their poems.

from this point of view, the researchers chose their poems with the aim of revealing the narrative techniques in their poems: introduction, flashback, flash forward, resumes place, and employing different personalities by following the descriptive analytical method to study them.

the study showed that the poets employed these techniques to diversify the narration style in their poems, capture the details of events, increase their cohesion and interdependence, and express their feelings and thoughts.
