The study aims to identify the role of sports arbitration in resolving sports disputes.

the researcher used the analytical approach due to its suitability to the nature of the study.

the study was conducted in the period of arbitration claims in the settlement center from 2017 to 2020.

the study sample consisted of 345 arbitration cases in the sports settlement and arbitration center.

(71) for the year 2017, the regulations of the statute of the sports settlement and arbitration center, and the regulations of the Egyptian Olympic committee, some arbitration provisions the most important results of the research proved the effectiveness of the sports settlement and arbitration center in adjudicating first-degree cases, the diversity of arbitration cases presented to the settlement center between cases related to sponsorship contracts for professional players, advertising contracts, training contracts between coaches and clubs.

the researcher also recommended the need to include the arbitration law with many restrictions that prevent the appointment of arbitrators from relatives or in-laws of the parties to the dispute, up to the fourth degree, in order to achieve the impartiality and integrity of the arbitrators.
