The researcher shed light on two topics of great importance in the present and the future, namely, sports crises and strategic management.

the research aimed to try to develop a proposed plan for managing sports crises in the Egyptian weightlifting federation in the light of strategic management.

the researcher used the descriptive approach.

the researcher used the questionnaire as a data collection tool.

the research community working in the Egyptian weightlifting federation represented in the “members of the board of directors of the union’s branches, members of the various committees of the union, managers of the union’s branches (financial-executive), branch administrators and the union’s referees and coaches for the year 2022 AD / 2023 ad and their number is (1047) individuals, where the researcher by choosing the basic research sample by the stratified random method from the original community, consisting of (208) individuals and a percentage of (19.94%).
