Abstract EN

The current study's purpose is to improve the pragmatic ability of some children with specific language disorder.

the research sample consists of 20 children with specific language disorder, who are divided equally into two groups, one of them is the experimental group and the other is the control group, their ages range from (6-8) years old.

the study has used the following tools : the Stanford Binet scale-the intermediate fifth edition to measure intelligence (by Mahmoud Abu el-Neil at.al.

2009), real scale test, to determine language ability (by Dalia Mustafa Osman, 2013), the diagnostic scale for children' pragmatic language disorder (by Abdel Aziz el-Shakhs & Mahmoud el-Tantawy & Reda Khairy, 2015), the Arabic pragmatic test, to determine the pragmatic ability (by Mona Samieh Khudair, 2015), and the training program (designed by the researcher).

the results of the study show the effectiveness of the program used in improving the pragmatic ability of children with specific language disorder, as well as their ability to understand and use language socially in addition to their ability to socialize in general.

the study recommends the following : conducting more studies and programs to improve the pragmatic ability to treat various language and communication disorders.

children with specific language disorder were addressed by research and study, for a deeper understanding of the nature of this disorder and the problems these children meet.

holding training courses and for speech specialists and teachers in the field of special education to provide their knowledge with the latest findings of studies and research in the field of language and speech disorders, and organizing courses, seminars and workshops for parents to increase their awareness, for their effective participation in the implementation of treatment programs and strategies offered to their children.
