Abstract EN

This study drives at identifying the relationship of adolescents’ use of electronic crime-fighting pages to their electronic security ; monitoring as well, the most electronic crime-fighting pages used by respondents and identify the motives of respondents seeking information from electronic crime pages.

the study belongs to the descriptive method, relying also on the media survey approach.

the study sample consists of a purposed sample consisting of 400 male / female respondents in the first stage of the university and aged (17-18) years.

the study has used a questionnaire tool.

the most important results of the study are as follows the study confirmed the high level of electronic security among adolescents after their use of cybercrime-fighting pages, as their ability to protect them from electronic fraud, protection of their electronic devices, protection from electronic blackmail, most of the anti-cybercrime pages used by teenagers that come in the first place, is the page of Mohamed el-Gendi, and in the second place comes the "resist" page, while the ministry of interior’s page comes in third place.

regarding the most of the anti-cybercrime pages the page of the ministry of the interior came in the first order, and in the second place came the "resist" page, and in the fourth place comes the page of "ministry of communications and information technology" ; while the "internet investigation" page comes in the fifth order.

the results show the most important motives for respondents seeking information about electronic security.

finally, the results confirm that there is a statistically significant relationship between the respondents’ motives seeking information from the anti-graft pages.

the study concludes that there is a statistically significant relationship between the respondents’ rate of use of the anti-cybercrime pages and their level of electronic security.
