Abstract EN

This study aimed to learn about the Covid-19 virus, its spread methods, symptoms, how to deal with and prevent it, while standing on the Corona virus in Algeria by presenting statistics for the number of infections and deaths, and also aims to reveal the extent of the impact of Covid 19 on inflation rates in Algeria through monthly data covering The period (February 2020 - August 2021) using the standard approach, specifically autoregressive ray models (VAR), variance analysis and reaction response functions.

One in the variable number of Covid 19 cases in Algeria adversely and permanently affects the inflation rate, and the results of the variance analysis showed that in the first period a shock occurred in the number of Covid 19 cases, contributing by about 84% to fluctuations in inflation rates in Algeria.
