This study aims to reveal the overlapping of discourses in contemporary Arab poetic discourse by focusing on the narrative and poetic discourses in Tamim Barghouti's poetry, a poem in Jerusalem as a model, as well as the manifestation of the narrative structure and the search for its mechanisms and techniques in this poem selected for study and analysis.
