Abstract EN

This Study aimed to extrapolate contemporary Arab and foreign orientations in educational research, and to identi- fy the theoretical and applied frameworks for the design of the proposed map of educational research in the light of these orien- tations.

This descriptive Study relied on documentary analysis, relations tree technique, in addition to pilot Qudy applied to 67 faculty members from different Arab universities and education- al departments to ask them whether their departments have re- search maps, and to suggeél what they see as necessary research priorities..

After extrapolating the research literature concerned with contemporary orientations related to the topics and meth- odologies of educational research at the Arab and international levels, and after arranging the research topics proposed by the pilot Qudy sample, the researcher classified these priorities into 9 main fields and 93 sub-fields, according to the topics of edu- cation and not according to specializations.

To increase the reli- ability of the proposed map, it was judged by 13 experts.

After approval, the researcher presented several mechanisms to benefit the Stakeholders from this map.
