Abstract EN

One of the modern cultural phenomena is Book Tube, or literary and cultural channels, which are available on the YouTube platform that deal with videos about reading and books, which helps to spread and share knowledge on a large scale, which increases the spread of the culture of reading among young people and encourages a love of reading.

This study deals with the concept of BookTube channels and their most important features in spreading the culture of reading, publicity and advertising of books, shedding light on the emergence of the Book Tube channels on the Internet and the most important Arab channels, and defining the concept of BookTubers and their role in spreading culture and their relationship with publishers, book fairs and book sellers, and displaying and analyzing the types of content offered.

On these channels, in addition to the inventory and study of a sample of the Egyptian and Arabic Book-Tube channels, five Book-Tube channels were studied, namely (The “Novelist” channel by Amr El-Madawy, “Books Friends” channel by Zakaria Yassin - “Menalaa5r” channel by Mai Magdy - “Rami's Corner” channel by writer Ramy Raafat – “alamet tansis” channel for the youngest book tube in Egypt, Ismail El-Ebiary).

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, where this method is concerned with collecting information and facts, analyzing and interpreting them, and coming up with a set of results.
