One of the best topics that should be studied is the elicitation and study of Al-Makassidi (purpose-based) thought of scholars who have taken care of the purposes of Sharia law in order to trace the consideration of purposes in all parts of Islamic jurisprudence.

Especially, if the renowned scholar is one of those who founded the Makassidi (purpose-based) thought; such as Ahmed Waliullah Al-Dehlawi who is considered one of the founders of the purposes of the sharia.

Thus, this research sought to study some glimpses of the Makassidi thought and it singled out the study of the purposes of worship as an application model.

The research concludes that this scholar was one of those who emphasized the importance of the purposes and the benefits of their codification.

He had a keen interest in the specialized purposes, including what this research focused on, the purposes of worship, and how they are reasoned by the interests through his book God's Extreme Argument.
