The study aimed to identify the reality and hope for the participation of girls in scouting and its relationship to the service of the Saudi society, and the type of study descriptive analytical The study used three samples, the first sample of Saudi girl scouts in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the goal of identifying the reality of girls' participation in scouts and their characteristics in Saudi society from the perspective of girls.

The second sample is from scouting experts in the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, to answer the hoped-for perception of girls' participation in scouting by promoting national belonging and social responsibility, and its relationship to serving the Saudi society from the perspective of the employees of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association.

And the third sample of scouting experts in the Gulf and Arab countries, to learn about the best practices in the participation of girl scouts in community service.

The most prominent results of the study were that the percentage of the most participants in scouting from the age of 23 to 27 years, and 78% of them were non-employees, the percentage of the most participants from the western region was 55%, and the percentage of girls participating in scouting activity was 66.9%, and 77% of them obtained leadership qualification for the initial study, 15% obtained the foundation, 11.9% obtained the advanced, 18% of them had scouting participants, 78% of them had membership in the scout team, 31% of them had a scout rank, and 42% Members of a scout team, including 16% scout leaders, 71.3% participated in the service of the Saudi community and 55% members of a volunteer team, and the girls reported that their participation in scouting developed their skills and experience to serve the Saudi community by 27.1%, 7.9% participated in Hajj services, and 96% of them answered their desire to practice scouting activities, and in the second sample, the percentage of experts from the employees of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association in the second study sample of males was 52% and 47% of females, and the ages of the participants from the experts were 40-45 33% of them were university graduates, 43% of them were commissioned scouts and 15% were less than 10 years old, and the experts answered the question of the hoped-for vision of girls' participation in scouting and the promotion of national belonging with approval, and in the axis of the hoped-for vision of girls' participation in scouting and promoting social responsibility, experts agreed that scouting trips, community service programs, awareness or environmental preservation enhance social responsibility towards society for girl scouts to be an active member of society.

The results of the study showed that in the third study community of experts in Scout associations in the Gulf and Arab countries, they stressed the relationship of girls' participation with Scouts to serve Arab and Gulf societies.

The study presented a perception of the harmonization between the values of scouting and the values and principles of social work and the study recommended assigning social workers to lead scout teams at all stages of public and university education, because he is professionally qualified to deal with the participants in scouts according to their psychological and social characteristics and the nature of their stages, and the social worker specializes in creating various programs to benefit from the energies of young people to serve the Saudi society.
