Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to find out the positive impact of social networks on the community participation of university youth.

this is due to the importance of the role played by social networks in reaching all members of society and broadcasting to them everything that is going on in society in terms of events and activities, and since social networks had a positive aspect in making the whole world one village, in addition to the ease of exchanging information, expertise and experiences, it also has negative aspects therefore, the research focused on the positive aspect of social networking and knowing how social networking affects the community participation of university youth in order to develop their community.

accordingly, a questionnaire was applied to a random sample of university students in the faculty of social work.

entitled "planning indicators to activate the positive impact of social media networks on community participation of university youth" consisting of three sub-dimensions : the impact of social networks on activating the youth initiative-the impact of social networks on providing community participation for young people-the impact of social networks on developing youth capabilities in the field of community participation.

and those dimensions consist of (27) phrases.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the quantitative and qualitative approach in analyzing and interpreting the results of the research, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which was the emergence of the role of social networks in promoting community activities, which leads to increased community participation
