Abstract EN

this study aims to address the artistic content represented in the decorative drawings included in samples of pottery pieces discovered in some eastern sites of Algeria, and dated in the third century BC and the fourth century ad, and then elicit religious connotations and the mythological significance that they perform, such as the idea of immortality and victory and the stories of some heroes and gods within a harmonious mixture between religious ideas and trends of oriental origins on the one hand and Greco-Roman on the other, which spread in the ancient Maghreb, in addition to a number of economic dimensions that these pottery and its drawings contributed to revealing.
