The present research seeks to shed light on one the most important revolutions of the caesarian tribes of Mauritania against the roman authority during the last third of the fourth century ad, which were led by the two brothers princes Firmus and Gildon, who represent one of the most important members of the aristocratic Nubel family, to which the study aims to investigate the real reasons that led to the rupture between the two princes and the roman authority alongside the circumstances of their revolutions, in an attempt to present the most important military events while highlighting the latter's reactions through the use of the policy of discrimination, especially in light of the widespread joining of all the tribes of the region to the two revolutions as an expression of their rejection of the policy of the romans and their presence in the region.
