Abstract EN

This article aims at a documentary study from the Egyptian archives and the oral narrative of an Algerian soldier who participated in a battalion of the people's national army in the third phase of the war of attrition on the Egyptian front (1969-1970), on June 12, 1967, Algeria had taken the initiative to finance the war effort of Egypt from the soviet union, to participate effectively in the battlefield in Sinai, and to offer dozens of martyrs as an offering to Arab national duty.

among the results of this study: that the military doctrine of the people’s national army, the descendant of the national liberation army, has changed for the first time in the military history of Algeria, through the historical decision taken by the high command of the Algerian state to support Algeria for its brothers by participating in the Arab-Zionist war with its results in deterring the enemy.

the Zionist through the effectiveness of the missile wall, and that the martyrs and wounded of the people’s national army participating in the war of attrition, paved the way with their pure blood for the second participation of their brothers in the Arab-Zionist war in October 1973.
