The study aimed to identify obstacles limiting the effectiveness of social media networks in improving the performance of NGOs.

the study is considered a calendar study, in which the researcher relied on the case study methodology, the comprehensive social survey approach for NGO liaison and communication officers and reached the study community.

(42) forty-two individuals, as well as a number and number of NGOs in Cairo and Giza governorates 10 the results of the study indicate that human constraints are at the forefront of social networks' effectiveness in improving the performance of NGOs, the results of the study also found that the most particular obstacles of the local community were limited to the fact that some target groups did not have any technological means to keep them in constant contact with the organization.

the study also found that the level of obstacles to using social networks that face the effectiveness of social networks in improving the performance of NGOs as a whole came at a "low" level.
