Voluntary leaders have an important role in pushing the process of voluntary participation and revitalizing civil associations that provide health services, but there are many obstacles that may negatively affect these leaders in mobilizing self-resources for civil health services.

the current research aimed to identify the obstacles facing leaders while volunteering in mobilizing self-resources for civil health services.

the research belongs to the descriptive analytical research methods, using the comprehensive social survey approach for members of the board of directors of NGOs interested in mobilizing self-resources for private health services "affiliated with hospitals".

(106) participants shared in the survey, and they filled in a form used for identifying the "obstacles facing volunteer leaders in mobilizing self-resources for civil health services" as a data collection tool.

results of the study showed that there are many obstacles facing volunteer leaders in mobilizing self-resources for civil health services, including those related to the association's work team, and others related to professional development and training, as well as obstacles related to the local community.
