Abstract EN

The Moroccan philosopher Taha Abdel Rahman is the owner of multiple intellectual projects, perhaps the most prominent of which is the project of criticizing Western modernity and trying to reform and create it, where he worked to critique its foundations and highlight its contradictions and areas of moral and cognitive crisis, in an effort to establish an alternative Islamic modernity based on the principle of ethics and religion and return to the revival and renewal of heritage in commitment to the fundamentalist approach and relying on the terminology of the Arab Islamic deliberative field to contribute to the establishment of religious vigilance.

Stressing the need for creativity, renewal and cultural liberation, and the realization of the right to intellectual and philosophical difference in the Arab world.
