Remittances of Egyptian workers abroad amounted to 29.6 billion US dollars in 2020, compared to 4.3 billion US dollars in 1990, according to data from the world bank.

therefore, the researcher aims in this study to examine the relationship between remittances of workers abroad and economic growth in Egypt, and to achieve this goal, the researcher relied on his methodology on the descriptive analytical approach by dealing with the information and studies related to the subject of the research, and the quantitative approach using the standard method will be used to test the impact of remittances of workers abroad as an independent variable on the real GDP as a dependent variable indicative of economic growth in Egypt, and the study concluded that there is a direct relationship positive relationship between remittances of workers abroad and economic growth in Egypt during the period 1990-2020.
