Abstract EN

This research aims to investigate the correlation nature between marital violence and self-esteem, as well as to investigate the differences in marital violence and self-esteem according to the variables of work and residence status.

the concluded results are : -there is an inverse correlation between marital violence and work.

-there are statistically significant differences among the average performances of the sample’s members, on marital violence scale, according to the work variable, in favor of women who do not work.

-there are statistically significant differences among the average performances of the sample’s members, on self-esteem scale, according to the work variable, in favor of working women.

-there are statistically significant differences among the average performances of the sample’s members, on marital violence scale, according to the residence status variable, in favor of displaced women.

-there are statistically significant differences among the average performances of the sample’s members, on self-esteem scale, according to the residence status variable, in favor of resident women.
