and when the image was having this importance ; the educational system in our country-like the rest of the world-did not ignore its importance and effectiveness in textbooks, especially in primary education.

this is because the educational image plays a vital role in the educational process, because the learner in primary school tends naturally to the sensible things, according to the psychological and cognitive perception of jean Piaget.

in this research paper, we want to explore the reality of the educational picture in the Arabic language textbook for the second generation of primary education.

to stand on the importance of its presence, and its exploitation in achieving the linguistic significance of the learner.
