This article aims to study the nature of the relationship between development, culture and consciousness.

in other words, he tries to know how a culture contributes to the formation of a conscience capable of constituting a factor of economic, social and cultural development, or to that of a false conscience which constitutes an obstacle to this development.

the sociological literature relating to this question agrees on the dialectical nature of the relationship between culture, consciousness and development, each of these variables influencing the others and being influenced by them.
