Abstract EN

There is a growing acceptance of the concept of health security.

however; there are different and incompatible understandings, not least the lack of a complete wording of the concept of health security, and the lack of chemistry between this concept and the concept of primary healthcare.

while health workers and policy-makers in the developing countries within the united nations’ system understand the term in its broader public health context.

the present study addresses the problem of the existence of different definitions of the concept of health security.

methodologically, the study opts for the analytical method as the most suitable method to conduct this research.

the article concludes that the existence of divergent concepts of ‘health security’ in international politics.
