The Algerian university has aroused the interest and concern of all for several years.
all the direct actors (teachers, students and administration) as well as society as a whole unanimously agree on the state of "dysfunction" and "crisis" of the Algerian university and therefore underline, "the need and the urgent need to provide it with the educational, scientific, human, material and structural means that enable it to meet the expectations of society and to integrate into the international system of higher education.».
and since the official texts on university training do not really comment on the assessment methods used to verify the knowledge and skills mastered by students; the most important of which are formative and certifying assessment.
what are the aspects of these two types? and if these two practices are distinguished, one wonders which type promotes learning at university the most?

L’université Algérienne suscite depuis quelques années l’intérêt et la préoccupation de tous.
tous les acteurs directs (enseignants, étudiants et administration) ainsi que la société dans son ensemble s'accordent unanimement sur l'état de "dysfonctionnement" et de "crise" de l’université Algérienne et soulignent par conséquent, (Zineddine Berrouche & Youcef Berkane 2007 :11) : la nécessité et l'urgence de la doter de moyens pédagogiques, scientifiques, humains, matériels et structurels qui lui permettent de répondre aux attentes de la société et de s’intégrer au système international de l’enseignement supérieur.
et comme les textes officiels sur la formation universitaire ne se prononcent pas vraiment sur les modalités évaluatives utilisées pour vérifier les connaissances et les compétences maîtrisées par les étudiants; dont les plus importants sont l’évaluation formative et certificative.
quels sont les aspects de ces deux types? et si ces deux pratiques se distinguent, on peut se demander quel type favorise le plus l’apprentissage à l’université?
