All developed and developing countries alike seek to attract the largest amount of foreign investment to achieve economic development, at a time when these foreign investments, led by multinational companies, seek to the areas that achieve the greatest return, and at the same time the governments of countries seeking these investments provide a set of attractive privileges, customs and tax exemptions, and many incentives to bring these investments, such as reducing land and real estate prices, and controlling economic and political policies, with the aim of improving the climate for investment destinations in order to achieve economic development.
