The issue of identity is considered one of the complex topics with a psychological, social, religious, cultural and even philosophical dimension, due to its connection to the social value system, which differs in different peoples and societies, and what may increase the complexity of this concept is its association with the period of adolescence, and accordingly, this descriptive and analytical study came to shed light on a number of concepts the complex, intertwined and intertwined with each other, such as the social and religious identity, in addition to indicating the nature of the crisis in each type, with linking it to the emergence of a number of behavioral problems of a social and psychological dimension.

and it was based in this proposition on the psychosocial theory of Erikson in its definition of the identity and crises that a teenager experiences during his developmental stages.
