Abstract EN

This study attempts to read the trip literature with a methodological perspective that goes beyond the literary focus which, generally, characterizes the trip literature.

That is, in this research our focus is to search for the anthropological features that make the trip literature constitutes the first seed of the anthropological approach in the Ar' studies.

I choose for this Ibn Jubayrˈs trip, which is one of the most prominent Arab trips in which its author intended to track and record the various aspects of the lives of the people he visited during his trip to perform the pilgrimage.

The study was based on rising two fundamental questions: - What are the features of anthropological thought in Ibn Jubayr's trip? And to what extent he succeeded in working according to an anthropological vision that he had before his era?
