Abstract EN

Illegal immigration is one of the most serious social issues that trouble societies, especially the youth which are trying to embody it by all means.

This is what prompted us to search for an answer to the following problem: What is the impact of causes of illegal immigration of Algerian youth on their immigration decision? To answer this problem, the following hypothesis was put forward: There is a statistically significant effect between the reasons for illegal immigration on the decision to emigrate Algerian youth from the perspective of university students at the significance level (0.05).

We tried to measur the opinions and trends of a sample of students’s Khemis Miliana University about the various reasons that motivate them and influence their decision to illegal immigration.

The study concluded that there are a number of reasons: psychological, educational, social, and economic that motivate and influence young people to illegal immigration from the point of view of students.
