This article aims to shed light on the impact of the geography of the Mediterranean and the Evian accords as strategic factors on French-Algerian relations.

as the Algerian-French relations are considered a distinct case in international relations as a result of the continuous attraction over the opposite files on the economic, political and cultural levels, where the north and south, colonialism, liberation and other strategic factors and opposite sides of the Mediterranean, which was and still is one of the strategic spaces affecting international politics.

geography has played an important role in the development and transformation of Algerian-French relations during centuries of conflict, cooperation or cautious calm.

the repeated accords also played an equally important role in the geopolitics industry between the two countries.

perhaps the most important of these accords is the Evian accords.
