Abstract EN

In this research, the researcher attempted to develop the performance for students studying nay through innovative exercises inspired by some collective songs of baleegh hamdy as well as identifying baleegh hamdy’s method of formulating collective songs, and identifying the group of nay and maqamat used in the research.

it includes the research problem-research objectives-research importance-research questions-research tools-research terminology previous studies.

theoretical framework: which includes two sections.

the first section: "nay": it includes (description of nay-the group of nay- the reason for the player take refuge to switching nay).

the second section: "baleegh hamdy": it includes (a brief about baleegh hamdy’s life and his artistic composition).

practical framework: which includes the research samples and analysis as well as innovative exercises inspired from those samples.

the researcher concluded this research with results, answering research questions and suggested recommendations, as well as research references.
