Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the requirements for the success of the electronic document management system at the Social Security Corporation in Jabal Al Akhdar, by studying the reality of the current system and the requirements that must be met for the possibility of the success of the electronic administrative document management system in the institution.

the study used the descriptive and analytical approach.

a questionnaire on the study population, the most important results of which were : that 53.67% of employees agree that the progress of documentary work in the Social Security Institution does not depend on the existence of a clear and written plan within specific criteria that the institution’s employees follow in dealing with administrative documents within the scope of their work, and that it does not the institution and its branches have a computer network that reaches all offices, also that 74.2% of the current employees receive training courses in the field of computers and its accessories to develop their capabilities and skills, and that 72% find that the senior management provides the necessary financial support for the purchase and maintenance of electronic technologies for the document management system, and the presence of conviction the employees have that working with the electronic document management system is characterized by speed, accuracy and transparency, and will reduce the rate of corruption and loss of administrative documents the study made several recommendations, the most important of which are : the necessity of developing written and pre-studied plans and strategies according to the needs of the documentary work in the Social Security Institution for the electronic document management system.
