Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the extent to which building human capital in organizations, whatever their nature, contributes to creating competitive advantage.

In our research, we have studied the relationship between these two variables on the banking sector in the State of Iraq, and specifically, we chose a sample of three banks operating in the holy province of Karbala.

We have divided the research into five chapters, and the research followed the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire tool was relied upon to collect the data required in the field study.

Among the most prominent results that have been reached is that building human capital contributes mainly to creating a sustainable competitive advantage through training, qualifying and developing the capabilities of individuals working in the banking sector.
