The method of scientific research is the first pillar of any civilizational progress and social renaissance, as it is a tool for the discipline of knowledge, the advancement of sciences.

the world has recognized a real civilization for Muslims, in which various types of sciences have arisen, Islamic scholars have used the scientific method accurately in studying, experimenting, and developing it.

the research methodology of Muslims has a significant impact on the emergence of the modern western civilization renaissance, based on the foundations of this scientific method among Muslims and their disciplined criticism of the logic of ancient Aristotelian thought.

the aim of this research is to demonstrate the originality of establishing the scientific research approach in Islamic thought, and the efforts of Muslim scholars to use its tools in their scientific progress, which resulted in a pioneering scientific movement and the discovery of many scientific theories in: medical sciences, engineering and physics, and their research advanced in philosophy, and history, and sociology, in addition to many Islamic legal sciences.

the study also aimed to show the impact of the scientific research method among Muslims on the emergence of modern western civilization; where European scholars learned these scientific foundations of the research method from Muslims, through translation; which led to the progress of western civilization.
