Abstract EN

The main objective of this research is to emphasize the fact that although Imam Ahmed has doubted some Hadiths، he referenced them in his Musnad.

Hence، the research refers to the numerous weak Hadiths included in the Musnad.

Some of those Hadiths have been confined to doubted narrators and some of them were very weak.

In addition، the research highlights the point that Imam Ahmed only relied on weak Hadiths when they remain the only ones in the chapter so that he included them despite their unlawful narrations، and they neither include، in their chains of transmission، someone accused of lying nor they are irregular.

Those Hadiths are called، afterwards، as good Hadiths for other ones.

Imam Ahmed relied on such Hadiths in his school as he favored them far more than relying on similar standards or views of men.

The research is divided into two sections: the first handles important investigations about the Musnad while the second section studies eighteen applied Hadiths and the research concludes with the findings.

The researcher recommends studying the doubted Hadiths and clarify the reasons beyond stating them in the Musnad.

It is also necessary to study the denied Hadiths of Imam Ahmed on a larger scale.

As for the approach followed by the researcher، he selected examples from the Musnad andtraced the sayings of Imam Ahmed throughout the books of the causes، inquiries، dates، biographies and the transmitted Sunnah books which are concerned with his sayings such as Jamea Alـ Tirmidhi (The Assembled Book of Alـ Tirmidhi)، Sunnan Abi Dawoud (The Traditions of Abi Dawoud) and other books of the same school of Hadith etc.
