Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to highlight the reconciliation between what was reported from Imam (Shafi'i) of disparagement of theology, and between contributing to it, and to show the verbal side when Imam (Shafi'i), and his skill in verbal debates, and to reveal the impact of the approach and views of Imam (Shafi'i) in theology on the subsequent Ash'ari thought, and I have used in this research several approaches to address it: historical, analytical, and comparative.

and reached in this research to several results, the most important: that what was reported about imam Shafi'i slander in the science of speech, because it was called then on fatalism, and Mu'tazila, and the people of deviation and passions, as the research showed the contributions of Imam (Shafi'i), and his ability to decide some major theological issues such as inference on the existence of god almighty, and oneness, and the issue of the creation of the Qur’an, and the vision of god in the hereafter, and other issues of speech, which indicates that he did not speak in it only after probing its depths, and surrounded its minutes, it is also with his follow-up to the impact, but he believed in the text supported by reason, as well as the research showed that Imam (Shafi'i) did not have a passion for debates in theology unless the situation resorted to him, and imposed on him the circumstance to address it, so prepare for it so as not to find the opponent seemed to recognize the words of Shafi'i for his ingenuity in scolding the opponent, and one of the most important findings of the research that the views of imam (Shafi'i) verbal was the first building block that formed the doctrine (Ash'ari) through the Kalabia school, which in turn, it was based on the most important theological doctrine of the audience of the successor of the Sunnis.

I recommended: the need to highlight the theological aspect of those who belong to the various Islamic sciences to show the link between theology and other sciences, because it is an asset on which all other branches are based, and therefore it is important to have interdisciplinary studies through which the interdependence of the sciences of Islam with each other appears.
