Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to identify the feasibility of the science and mathematics education program in English at the faculty of education, Tanta university, in the light of the needs of the official language schools in Gharbia governorate, for that, the research used the descriptive approach, which required talking several steps : identifying the philosophy of special programs and the reasons for introducing them in faculties of education in preparation for identifying the conceptual framework for the science and mathematics education program at the faculty of education, Tanta university.

then presenting the theoretical foundations of the official language schools, and monitoring their most important needs of teacher who are academically, educationally, culturally and technologically qualified, by conducting semi regulated interviews in some official language schools in Gharbia governorate, then revealing the reality of the program in the light of these needs by applying a questionnaire to students of the third and fourth years of the program.

the research reached several results, most notably : that the percentage of the total capabilities of the student teacher was (average) at (66.27%), and that the highest is the capabilities of the academic field, and the lowest is the capabilities of the technological field.

the research concluded with several procedural proposals through which the program can be improved at the level of both capabilities of the student teacher and the components available to him.
